Honors & Credit

Honors Designation
The overall grade point average includes all transfer credit and Athens State University credit.

	Summa Cum Laude Awarded to the student who earns an overall grade point average of 3.9 or above
	Magna Cum Laude Awarded to the student who earns an overall grade point average of 3.70 to 3.89
	Cum Laude Awarded to the student who earned an overall grade point average of 3.5 to 3.69

PLEASE NOTE:

For students who will graduate Fall 2012/2013 and after, the honors designation recognized only at the ceremony and listed in the graduation program will be determined by the cumulative GPA at the beginning of the final semester of enrollment.

The honors notation on the diploma and on the transcript will be determined by the cumulative GPA at the end of the final semester.
