Students must now purchase the cap, gown and tassel from the University Bookstore. The cost is $25.00 plus tax.

Class Rings
Class rings may be ordered from Jostens in the Athens State University Bookstore.
Photographs
A professional photographer will take a picture of each graduate as the diploma is presented on stage during the commencement exercises. Proof pictures will be mailed directly to the student from the photographer. The photographer is a private vendor not affiliated with Athens State University. Guests are not allowed on the Von Braun Center Arena floor to make pictures, but pictures may be taken from the seating areas designated for guests.
Honor Medallions
If you are graduating with honors (as defined below), you may purchase an honor medallion. Fall graduates will be mailed information on purchasing the medallions. Spring and summer graduates may purchase a medallion during line-up at the commencement ceremony. The cost of the honor medallion is $20.00.
