The Alumni Association continues its work to provide useful benefits to its membership. Annual membership in the Alumni Association is $25 per person or $40 per couple. Lifetime membership is $250 (or $500 per couple) and can be paid annually over a five-year period.

The Athens State University Alumni Association
offers membership in three classes:
Active Member
All graduates of Athens State University and its predecessors who have paid their Life Membership dues or who shall pay and keep paid their annual dues to the Association, and all past regularly registered students of Athens State University and its predecessors who have remained in said institution as long as one quarter or semester and who shall pay and keep paid their dues to the Association.
Life Member
Graduates of Athens State University and its predecessors who upon submitting a gift of $250 for an individual or $500 for joint membership to the Athens State University Alumni Association.
Honorary Member
Those elected to such status by the Association in recognition of outstanding and meritorious service to Athens State University, the Association, the State of Alabama, or the United States of America. A resolution honoring a person as an honorary member must be approved by a majority vote of the Board of Directors.
