Academic Technology Services (ATS) supports the faculty inside and outside of the classroom by providing walk-in support, scheduled consultation, and training in various formats to help faculty understand the functionality and application of teaching and learning technologies. ATS maintains and administers University-wide systems, and services that support teaching and learning such as Blackboard Learn, Blackboard Collaborate, Respondus Lockdown Browser and Tegrity. ATS also provides audiovisual services and classroom support.
Help Desk Services: The Help Desk provides answers to technology problems to the students, faculty and staff. Services include password resets, troubleshooting software, equipment checkout and classroom support.
Training Services: ATS offers various training and development opportunities for the faculty and staff of the university. Training sessions can cover any topic and requests for specific trainings are encouraged.
Course Services: ATS uses an instructional designer to review volunteered courses and offer suggestions on course improvement. Additionally, ATS compiles information for faculty such as quality improvement rubrics and best practices documents.
Audiovisual Services: ATS offers audiovisual services and classroom support services. Additionally, ATS has equipment that is available for checkout to faculty and staff.
