The Athens State University Art Department will work for you!

The art department at Athens State will review your portfolio and transcripts and assist you to devise a plan of study to complete a B.A. within two years. Whether you are interested in graphic design, photography, painting, drawing, or ceramics, the art department can place you in courses where you will develop your talent and the skills you need to reach your goals.

We are proud to announce the opening of the Alabama Center for the Arts which is located in Decatur. The Athens State Art Dept. in conjunction with Calhoun Community College will be offering classes at the Center. For more information about the Center for the Arts, click here.

At Athens State , you may choose to concentrate in one of the following concentrations:

Studio Art
Graphic Design
Art Certification P-12
