Art
Art Club
Are you looking for new and exciting activities to be involved with? We invite you to join the art club! The art club is open to art and non art majors and is sponsored by Gail Bergeron, Assistant Professor of Art. Meetings are held once a week on Tuesdays at 12:30 in room 16 of McCandless.

Behavioral Sciences
Psi Chi
Is the National Honor Society in psychology is active in on-campus activities as well as community service projects and regional psychology conferences. Students interested in Psi Chi can contact Dr. Susan Owen for application material.

Biology
Health and Science Career Club
The Health and Science Career Club is an organization whose purpose is to promote interest in science,  to provide educational and training opportunities in the health and science fields, and to provide opportunities for participation in co-operative work and volunteer work in the health and science professions. Regular meetings feature guest speakers who discuss career opportunities in their fields. Past speakers have  included a Forensic Scientist, a Wildlife Biologist, and a Pharmacist. Membership is open to any Athens State University student or students of any Alabama college or university. For more information contact Dr. Larry Covick (256) 233-6521.

English
Sigma Tau Delta
Sigma Tau Delta is the National English Honor Society. Its purpose is to brevet distinction upon undergraduates, graduates, and scholars in Academia, as well as upon professional writers who have realized accomplishments in linguistic or literary realms of the English language.

History
Phi Alpha Theta
Phi Alpha Theta, the International Honor Society in History was founded in 1921. We are a professional society whose mission is to promote the study of History through the encouragement of research, good teachings, publication and the exchange of learning and ideas among Historians. We seek to bring students, teachers and writers of History together for intellectual and social exchanges, which promote and assist Historical research and publication by our members in a variety of ways.

Mathematics
MACS Club
MACS welcomes new members. Anyone interested in Math or Computer Science is welcome to join. The MACS club usually meets the third Wednesday of each month, at noon in the Math Lab. Club members participate in activities around campus and also in field trips to area businesses. MACS members have recently visited the Corporate Information Center at Redstone Arsenal, the Super Computer Laboratory in Huntsville, the Structural Test Lab at NASA, and the new Boeing Plant in Decatur.

Religion
Fellowship of Religious and Philosophical Studies (FORPS)
This group is made up of current students, former students, instructors of religion and philosophy, and other interested persons. It helps promote the serious study of religion and philosophy.
