The distance-learning program in Religious Studies at ASU has been designed to help those who live too far away to travel to campus for traditional courses or those whose schedules do not allow them to take courses in a traditional format.  DL courses are designed to contain all the elements of a traditional classroom course.  This will improve as technology improves.  Our goal is for every class to have both printed and oral communication between professor and student.  We are committed to delivering a quality DL program with a personal touch where students are able to communicate with their professors in writing and orally much in the same way they would in a face-to-face course.
