TEP Application Process

Step 1:  Students must complete the online TEP application.  This can be completed at any time throughout the semester.
Directions to complete online TEP application:
1.  Go to ASU Online on College of Education home page. ASU Online
2.  Enter your user name and password.
3.  Go to Student Tab.
4.  Go to TEP Application Link
5.  Select current term.
6.  Complete application and submit. 

Step 2: After successfully submitting the online TEP application, students are to (1) email their COE advisor to schedule an interview, and (2) “submit for review” their LiveText portfolio with their COE advisor.

A&S students will schedule their interview and share their portfolio with a COE advisor.

By major – COE Advisors for A&S students:
ENGLISH – Dr. Amanda Branscombe
SOCIAL SCIENCE / HISTORY – Dr. Prentice Chandler
SCIENCE / BIOLOGY / MATH – Dr. Leigh Bunn

Step 3:  When the student has successfully completed the TEP interview and received an acceptable or target evaluation on their LiveText portfolio, then the College of Education faculty will vote on final approval for admission.

Step 4:  Students will receive an email regarding their status of admission into the TEP program.

Step 5:  Upon approval for admission into the TEP program, students may then register for TEP courses
