TEP Portfolio Requirements

The following requirements must be included in the student LiveText portfolio:

1. An article critique with rationale

2. Content Knowledge document with rationale

3. Resume

4. Original lesson plan with rationale

5. Field experience narrative with rationale

6. Diversity document with rationale

7. Initial philosophy

8. Artifacts with rationales in a minimum of 5 outcomes

(Include completed field experience verification forms in appropriate section.)

Student candidate instructions for submitting portfolio for review

  1. Teacher candidates interviewing for TEP will submit their portfolio directly to the appropriate advisor; instructions are as follow:
    1. Open the portfolio
    2. Click on the "send for review" button at the top of the portfolio page
    3. Enter the advisor's name in the "search viewer" box; a list of matching names will be generated
    4. Select the advisor's name and click "submit for review"
  2. Candidates may review completed TEP assessments from the "Reviews" area of their personal LiveText account
