Miranda Perry

Miranda transferred from Calhoun Community College where she received an Associate’s degree in General Studies in December 2012. She is seeking a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Educational Technology from Athens State University. Miranda anticipates completing her internship in Spring 2015 and graduating in May. Miranda is passionate about guiding, inspiring, and empowering future generations! Her plan is to try to obtain a full-time teaching position in North Alabama upon graduating from Athens State.

On a personal note, Miranda has been married for three years. She does not have any children at this time, but definitely hopes to someday. Miranda works as a part-time nanny for a five year old little girl. When she begins kindergarten this fall, Miranda will begin substitute teaching until internship. Miranda also teaches a Sunday school class for three year old to kindergarten children at her local church. She also keeps church nursery, and this year she will be co-directing Vacation Bible School. In her spare time she tutors elementary students, spends time with family, and reads.
