Praxis II Study Session

Upcoming Praxis II Study Session Dates:

Four different Praxis study sessions will be offered on the campus of Athens State University on the following dates: January 18th, February 15th, April 5th, May 31st and July 12th..

A Teaching Reading Praxis Study Session will be held on Friday, January 18th, February 15th, April 5th, May 31st and July 12th, 2013 from 9:00 to 12:00 in CB 202. CB 202 is located in the Classroom Building. This test is required for early childhood majors and for elementary majors.

An Elementary Education Content Knowledge Praxis Study Session will be held on the afternoon of Friday, January 18th, February 15th, April 5th, May 31st and July 12th, 2013 from 1:00 to 4:00 in CB 202. CB 202 is located in the Classroom Building. Collaborative K-6, Early Childhood, and Elementary majors take the Elementary Education Content Knowledge Test.

A Special Education Content Knowledge Praxis Study Session will be held on Friday, January 18th, February 15th, April 5th, May 31st and July 12th, 2013 from 9:00 to 12:00 in MN B01. MN B01 is located in the basement of McCain Hall. This test is required for all collaborative majors (K-6 and 6-12).

For those students who may be changing your major to the new elementary/collaborative K-6 major, you will be required to pass all three tests, Teaching Reading, Special Education Content Knowledge, and Elementary Education Content Knowledge prior to internship.

Physical Education PRAXIS study sessions will be held on Friday January 18th and February 15th, 2013 during the spring semester. The study session will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in room P6. This classroom is located in the Carter P.E. Building on the Athens State University campus.
