Instructional Design Program
IS THE INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN PROGRAM THE RIGHT CHOICE FOR YOU?
The Bachelor of Science Degree in Technical Education, Instructional Design Program prepares students for careers in education, health care, government, business, industry, military, and non-profit sectors. The program combines theory with hands-on experience to equip students for jobs in the instructional design and technology field. Potential roles include multimedia specialist, instructional coordinator or designer, and training and development specialist. Students who complete the Instructional Design Program will potentially possess the ability to design and deliver creative learning environments in the workplace.

CAREER OUTCOMES
Common jobs for an instructional designer include instructional design specialist, instructional technologist, coordinator of e-learning, computer-assisted instruction specialist, and education or development specialist. Potential workplaces include: corporation, community college, vocational school, military education, adult education program, land-based or online college or university, P–12 school, military or educational consulting firm.

COURSE FORMAT
