Our elementary, early childhood, special education, career technical, physical education and secondary education programs prepare teachers to have a positive impact on the future of our world, both nationally and globally. Courses are delivered through traditional university campus classes, distance learning through online and teleconference offerings, and through University Centers. Approximately 300 students graduate from our NCATE accredited programs each year to begin careers as professional educators. The programs are challenging and time intensive, but faculty are committed to assisting students who often work and have family obligations. It is our goal to help you become the best educator you can possibly be and to help you achieve your personal goals. If you have a strong desire to become a teacher, we hope you will become a part of the Athens Teacher Program and make a difference in the world.
