The goal of the ASU Preservation Policy is to extend the useful life of the Archives collection. The archivist examines, cleans, and makes repairs as needed to all items entering the collection. Items determined to be worthy of the expense are professionally repaired.  Every effort is made to prolong the life of historical materials.
