Collecting Information -- Using the World Wide Web
Sandy decides to try to look for information on gestures as a form of nonverbal communication again using the tips the librarian gave her. She finds an advanced search screen that allows her to narrow her search and limit it by language and location.
She searches for the phrase "nonverbal communication" and the term "gesture" or "gestures". She limits her search to the English language and looks for the words in the titles of pages rather anywhere on the page.
Sandy gets only a few results, but they look right on target.
She looks at the sites and copies down a couple of the addresses, or URLs. She will evaluate them more thoroughly later.
