Athens State University Library is part of a consortium, or group of libraries, that all use the same automation system. This means that you can search the catalog for books at all the libraries, or just at Athens State. To limit a search to only the Athens State library, select Athens State University from the Location list.
You can search for books by author, title, subject, or keyword by entering terms in the search box.
- To search by author, enter the author's name last name first:
- Hemingway, Ernest
- Shakespeare
- To search by title, enter the title of the book, omitting any initial articles like "the" or "a":
- Sun Also Rises
- Romeo and Juliet
- To search by subject, enter a valid subject heading. To make sure the subject heading is correct, check the Library of Congress Subject Headings volumes next to the public access catalogs in the library.
- france foreign affairs
- nonverbal communication
- To search by keyword, enter one or more words that might appear in the title, subject, or elsewhere in the book record:
- world war II
- art education
