Collecting Information -- Finding Articles
Sandy is happy with the books she has found. Looking through them, she decides to focus on gestures as an aspect of nonverbal communication. The books don't have enough detailed information on this topic, so she realizes that she will have to find some articles.
She decides to see if she can find some articles in magazines or journals. Her professor has told the class that they need to use at least two scholarly journal articles for the research paper. Sandy starts flipping through some magazines trying to find articles on her subject. She gets frustrated because she can't find anything!!!
Sandy asks the librarian how to find scholarly articles. The librarian reminds her that the best way to find articles is to use a periodical index.
