The Other Libraries link provides links to the catalogs of other libraries in Alabama and the Southeast, and to the Library of Congress.

Most of the Alabama libraries listed have reciprocal agreements with Athens State which allow Athens State students to use the resources of those libraries, including checking books out. Students will need proof of enrollment to get library cards at those libraries.

By searching the catalogs of other libraries, it is possible to identify additional materials, beyond those available at the Athens State Library, that might be useful for research. Materials from other libraries can be requested through Interlibrary Loan. You will learn more about Interlibrary Loan as you continue through the tutorial.
