Retrieving Information -- Locating Articles
Sandy finds that she still cannot get all the articles she has identified through the Athens State library. What can she do?
- She can go to the "Other Libraries" link on the library home page and search the catalogs of other academic libraries in the area. Many of these libraries include periodical holdings in their catalogs. If a nearby library has the journal she needs, she can go there and make a copy.
- If no local library has the journal she needs, she can make an Interlibrary Loan request. The Athens State library will then request a copy of the article from another library that owns it. Sandy should receive her copy of the article in about a week.
