Mathematics Capstone Presentations - Summer 2014

Love on a Leash Therapy dogs will be visiting campus July 24 from 3:30 to 5:30 pm in the Classroom Building Lounge.

Candidates for the Bachelor’s Degree in English in Summer 2014 will present from their work at a public forum on Thursday, July 24, 10:30 A.M., in The Chapel of Founders Hall.

Each candidate will make a 10 minute presentation.

Computer Science Capstone Project Presentations - Summer 2014
July 28th
Seniors from the Computer Science program will present the Summer 2014 Computer Science Capstone Project Presentations on July 28th, 2014 at 6:00PM in Waters Hall Room N-101.

Projects to be presented include:

  • Enhancements and Security Audit for the YEA Conference Registration System
  • Enhancements and Security Audit for the United Way of Limestone County’s Website and Volunteer Management System
  • Investigation of the Use of Open-Source Change Management Systems with a Learning Management System
  • Application of Elliptic Curves to the Network Coding Problem
All members of the Athens State University community are invited to attend.

Athenian Applications Due
August 29th
The Athenian Ambassadors are the official hosts and hostesses of Athens State University. They are responsible for assisting with campus tours, receptions, and various community events. The Athenians are currently accepting applications through August 29, 2014. Applications can be found here. Athenian interviews will be on September 5, 2014 and all who are chosen must attend a mandatory workshop on September 12, 2014.

Reflections of Italy- October 15-24, 2014
