Information Concerning Student Complaints

Athens State University students who reside in Alabama or students residing in other states who are enrolled in distance learning courses or programs offered by the University have the right to file a complaint with the appropriate state approval/licensing entities, and/or the institution’s regional accrediting agency. However, prior to filing a complaint with an outside agency, we request that students exhaust all avenues of complaint within the University. Please refer to the Athens State University Student Grievance Procedure for additional information on procedures for resolving student complaints.
