Eligibility
The Cooperative Education Program is open to qualified students in all major fields; however, the majority of students receiving cooperative education placement are in the majors of Math, Computer Science, Business Management, Management of Technology, and Accounting. To apply for Coop Placement students must have an overall GPA of 2.5 or better. ASU will accept coop transfers from other colleges and universities with overall GPA’s less than 2.5 but that student must maintain an Athens State GPA of 2.5 or better once entering the Coop Program. All coop students, at all times, must maintain an ASU GPA of 2.5 or better.
