Getting Started

Step 1. Self Disclose
Students must reveal to the Accessibility Services Office that you are a student with a disability.

Step 2. Submit Documentation
Students must obtain appropriate documentation of their disability from a qualified professional. View information onĀ Documentation Guidelines.

Step 3. Schedule and Complete Intake Interview
Students should contact Accessibility Services to set up an intake interview. During this interview, the student and Accessibility Services Specialist will discuss eligibility, academic, and program accommodation needs, and explore resources that would be beneficial for them. Appropriate and reasonable academic accommodations will then be determined based on the medical documentation and information provided by the student. Accommodations will be determined for the student to meet course/program requirements, but they will not fundamentally alter or compromise the academic integrity of the course/program.
