The Office of University Advancement is responsible for coordinating, reviewing, and submitting all Federal, State, Local, or Private grant applications on behalf of the University and the Athens State Foundation. We are happy to meet with faculty and staff who are interested in applying for a grant to ensure that all necessary approvals are obtained and that applications are submitted in a timely manner. The Grant Application Approval Procedures provides basic instructions for all grant applications.
The grant application process begins with completion of the Grant Approval Form. We strongly suggest that the respective Dean or Vice President be consulted in advance of completing the application. Once all appropriate signatures are obtained, the grant process can move forward. All grants must be submitted through the Office of University Advancement which will serve as the central repository for applications and manage the grant process.
