APICS makes donation to Alabama Baptist Children's Home

Dateline: August 5, 2019
The Athens State student chapter of APICS (Association of Supply Chain Management) selected the Alabama Baptist Children’s Home in Decatur as their service project for the summer semester. The purpose of this organization is to protect, nurture, and restore children and families through Christ-centered services such as professional counseling, educational services, and family assistance. APICS chapter members collected household products, hygiene items, and school supplies from their communities and the Athens State campus. The chapter would like to thank everyone for their generosity and support, especially the Athens State Student Services department for their donation of individual Walmart gift cards for each resident.
