With classes offered at the Alabama Center for the Arts in Decatur, our supportive faculty are dedicated to providing expert instruction and hands-on training to develop the skills you need to CREATE YOUR CAREER and excel in the arts industry.
The BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) degree program is for students who are serious about pursuing careers as artists or art professionals. Specialized training and experience provided in a BFA degree has become an industry standard and a highly sought-after degree. Along with core studio-based training, students will select one of four concentrations and will complete an extensive capstone practicum during their senior year. This experience is designed to prepare students for employment, commissions, studio practice, graduate school applications, and other art career opportunities.
