Athens State University is proud to recognize Dr. Katherine Kandalec, Assistant Professor of Career and Technical Education, for recently being named as a participant for the second class of The Association for Career and Technical Education’s (ACTE) Leadership Exploration and Development (LEAD) program.
The program is optimized for new CTE professionals with two to five years of experience. During the one-year program, participants will assemble twice for training, leadership coaching, and more. The purpose of the program is to develop these skills in ACTE’s emerging leaders so they can continue to flourish as educators and mentors in their professional backgrounds as well as within ACTE.
The Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) is the nation’s largest non-profit association committed to the advancement of education that prepares adolescence and adults for successful careers.
