Physical Education teacher

The Bachelor of Science in Education Degree in Physical Education (B.S.Ed., P-12), Class “B” Teacher Certification, prepares students to be reflective practitioners committed to providing engaging, challenging, compassionate, and developmentally appropriate learning environments for all physical education students, grades P-12. Students pursue current, holistic content and professional health, physical education, and wellness knowledge, which will enable them to implement effective pedagogical practices which are theoretical, practical, and research-based. Students who complete this program will possess the ability to promote healthy lifestyles and lifelong wellness for all students through the delivery of disciplinary curricula that are comprehensive, socially responsible, diverse, and creative.


The B.S.Ed. in Physical Education Program offers courses in a variety of formats, including Blended and Traditional. Additional electives may be taken online.
