Athens State University College of Education adjunct instructor, Janice Newlin, will participate in the K12 Online Conference opening keynote, Global Narratives – Collaboration on the Edge presented by Julie Lindsay, author of The Global Educator: Leveraging Technology for Collaborative Learning and Teaching. The conference will be held on Monday, October 31.
Newlin will share her experience as a global educator and her ideas regarding global collaboration as a pedagogy and curriculum in the Educational Technology Minor course, Issues and Trends in Educational Technology.
Additionally, on November 3, there will be a live interactive panel discussion to delve deeper into the Lindsay’s keynote topic. Panel participants consist of Dr. Leigh Zeitz: ISTE Global Collaboration PLN President, Lucy Gray: Global Education Conference, Anne Mirtschin: global educator from Australia, and others.
