On Thursday, April 15, 2021, the Athens State University Alumni Association will host a virtual town hall meeting from McCandless Hall.
Given the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to provide this virtual opportunity to share with our alumni and friends of the University many of the exciting things happening on our campus.
The event will begin promptly at 5:30 pm central time and last for approximately one hour. Members of the Alumni Association board will be present along with President Philip Way and his cabinet to discuss items such as new program offerings, facility upgrades, Bicentennial Celebration plans, and other initiatives important to the continued success of the institution.
Due to social distancing requirements, a limited number of seats for in-person attendance will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Links are provided to register for either in-person or virtual attendance. All attendees will be given an opportunity to ask questions after the presentation.
