Back in 2017 a team of students partnered with the Learn To Read Council of Athens and Limestone County to re-design their website, which can be seen at https://www.learn-to-read.org/. Four years later, we have been able to partner with them again. A team of students has worked to re-design and migrate the website to a WordPress site to make the content more manageable for the staff at Learn to Read. In addition to the re-design and migration students are also required to create training documents and manuals to walk the staff through the different functions that their day-to-day work requires from them and to make updates to the new website. The two students who have dedicated their summer to work on this Capstone project will be presenting their results through zoom on Wednesday, July 13th at 10:00 am. We cordially invite the Athens State Community to join us for this presentation if your schedule allows. This is a great opportunity to see Experiential Learning in action as the students have participated in Community Based Learning.
