The Math and Computer Science Club’s Alumni QuickFire Presentation
Topic: The Importance of Data Literacy
November 4th
Zoom from 5:30 – 5:50pm.

Description: We are constantly making decisions. Whether in our personal lives or the business enterprise our decisions matter, and more importantly, their outcomes. No matter your degree or specialization, as an Athens State graduate and problem solver, you will be asked to solve problems. This presentation aims at providing an understanding of what data literacy is all about and what tools are available to help you.

Speaker Bio: Nathan Rodriguez graduated from Athens State University in 2014 with a B.S. in Computer Science and has worked at several software companies in that time. Currently, Nathan works as an Application Developer for Altec where he helps create easy-to-use, full-stack solutions that are used across Altec’s engineering groups. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, running, and spending time with his wife Lindsey.
