Empowerment Scholarships assist students with demonstrated financial need, based on the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) calculated from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Applicants seeking a first bachelor’s degree, newly admitted as a degree-seeking student who have earned at least 36 hours of college are considered. No separate scholarship application required!
- Be admitted to the University
- Submit official transcripts from all colleges attended
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Satisfy any additional financial aid requirements requested by the Office of Student Financial Aid
