The 9th Annual Fall Phonathon will begin August 28 and conclude on November 14, 2017. Current students and alumni will call on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. We have set an ambitious goal to raise $50,000 this year through pledged donations, with proceeds funding scholarships and other needs critical to student success.
As in prior years, donations to the Phonathon will be counted as unrestricted gifts unless otherwise specified by the donor. You may also choose to designate your gift to an area that you are passionate about – the choice is yours. Projects that will be highlighted this year include the Student Emergency Assistance Fund and the Adult Degree Program. A great way to support your alma mater is to give a gift in honor of your graduation year, with the class contributing the most money receiving special recognition in the winter edition of The Column.
Questions or comments regarding the Phonathon should be directed to the Office of Annual Giving at 256-233-8184 or *protected email*. The Athens State University Foundation is a charitable 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and all gifts are tax deductible as allowed by law.
