The Athens State University Alumni Association hosted the 31st Annual Golf Classic on September 22 at Canebrake Club in Athens. Twenty-eight teams participated in the Classic, and the event raised almost $50,000 for student scholarships.
Thanks to the generosity of golfers, donors, sponsors, and volunteers, the following students are current recipients of the annual golf scholarship: Valerie Davis, Kayla Hale, Olivia Logan, Branigan McPeters, Rebecca Rotermund, Anna Schrimsher, Christopher Gonzalez.
Athens State would like to express its sincerest gratitude to all donors and everyone who came together to make this event a success. The 32nd Annual Golf Classic is scheduled for Thursday, September 21, 2023.
