“Look” Exhibit to Open at ACA

The Alabama Center for the Arts will be opening a special exhibit entitled Look on Friday, November 10. The exhibit will showcase the art of senior art students at Athens State University. Artists featured include Heidi Barnes, Lauren Dewitt, Bonnie Findlay, Michelle Crawford, Kira Burton, Rachel Peterson, Makenna Smith, and Amber Vinson.
There will be a reception for the exhibit on Friday, November 10 from 6 – 8 pm. Look will be open to the public November 10 – December 8, 2017.
The Alabama Center for the Arts is the region’s premier art center and degree program. The project continues a long-standing collaborative academic effort between Calhoun and Athens State and serves as a model of academic institutional cooperation for the state. The Art Center is a venue for cultural events and activities and will enhance an appreciation of art and promote opportunities for creative expression for the residents throughout the region.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
