Mathematics

The degree programs in Mathematics prepare students for careers in government, business, and industry or for pursuing graduate studies. The Mathematics major is designed to prepare students for employment in business and industry or for a mathematical foundation for graduate study in mathematics. The Mathematics major with a minor in Education prepares the student to teach mathematics at the high school or middle-grade level. Either Mathematics program qualifies students to pursue graduate studies or assists students to meet the goal of becoming highly qualified in mathematics for state licensure.
