Many of the links in the Resource Library are to external sites not affiliated with Athens State or the Career Development Center. These are resources that are maintained by third parties over whom the Career Development Center has no control. These links are provided as additional resources should you choose to use them. You agree to hold harmless, release, and indemnify Athens State, its employees, and assigns, specifically, the Career Development Center and its representatives from any liability in connection with your participation in these sites.

    You may be asked to complete this form by one of your students. This form is a requirement for students who are applying for the Cooperative Education program.

Workforce Recruitment Program
The Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) is a recruitment and referral program that connects federal sector employers nationwide with highly motivated college students and recent graduates with disabilities who are eager to prove their abilities in the workplace through summer or permanent jobs. The U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) and the U.S. Department of Defense’s Office of Diversity Management & Equal Opportunity (ODMEO) manage the program, which continues to be successful with the participation of many other federal agencies and sub-agencies. The recruitment cycle begins in October each year.
