How am I going to pay for my education? Students have a number of resources available at Athens State. Athens State has Federal, State, Institutional and Outside funding sources, including both Grant Programs and loan programs for students and parents. Athens State funds approximately 60 scholarships annually. In addition, the Athens State University Foundation and the University's Alumni Association offer more than 80 scholarships awarded annually. Information on other scholarship sources is available.

Our goal in Financial Aid is to assist the students in securing a quality education without missing an opportunity because of their financial situation.
