Field Experience Announcements

March 31 – May 26
  The window for students to submit an online Field Experience application (MUST APPLY to receive a placement)
  All students will be assigned to an approved partner site where ASU faculty are assigned to observe
  Secondary Practicum Students: SC400/SC401 will not be conducted during the summer semester

May 26
  Due date to submit online Field Experience application
  (The Field Experience Coordinator must clear late requests)

June 3
  KA 1–3 students may view their placements. Contact your school to schedule attendance dates.
  KA 4 Instructor-Led Courses may view assigned placements on June 3; do NOT contact the school
    – Faculty Site Managers will email you information & details

June 3 – July 23
  KA 1–3 courses: Students will complete required field experience days during this 8-week period

June 8 – June 19
  KA 4 students will complete FE days during this 2-week COE course release timeframe
    – You will be assigned randomly; please leave both weeks open for availability

July 24
  Deadline to submit Field Experience Verification Form (MUST be completed thoroughly)
  Upload scanned copy into Student Learning & Licensure (SL&L)

  • Mandatory orientation may be required on Friday, February 20th.
