Please join the campus community on Friday, March 6, for the inaugural Diversity Day.
Melva Tate, a well-known speaker from the state who has delivered programming at peer state universities, will hold sessions and conversations covering topics such as “Valuing our Uniqueness in 2020,” and “Leading Like a Rock Star in 2020.” In addition, Athens State Financial Aid Director Mitchell Bazzel will provide a session covering need-to-knows about college financial aid literacy.
The contents of Diversity Day and other grant-funded events were/will be developed under a grant from the Department of Education. However, those contents do not necessarily represent the policy of the Department of Education, and you should not assume endorsement by the Federal Government.
