Please join us as the Office of Student Inclusion Initiatives and the Student Success Center welcome Core Ensemble for a Diversity Day Event titled “Of Ebony Embers: Vignettes of the Harlem Renaissance”. The presentation is a music theatre work celebrating three great African American poets: Langston Hughes, Countee Cullen, and Claude McKay, as seen through the eyes of renowned painter and muralist Aaron Douglas, “the Father of Black Art”. The show features a solo act with a music trio of piano, cello, and percussion.

The contents of the Workshop were developed under a grant from the Department of Education. However, those contents do not necessarily represent the policy of the Department of Education, and you should not assume endorsement by the Federal Government.
