How do I register for ADA accommodations?
Most exams require candidates to register for ADA accommodations directly when they register. Please make the University Testing Center staff aware of any accommodations when scheduling your appointment. All accommodations will require proper documentation. Athens State University students can contact Disability Services by calling (256) 233-8143.

Does my test allow me to use a calculator?
Most exams have calculators built into their software. Please refer to your Exam Candidate Bulletin (found on your exams webpage) for specifics about whether you will be allowed to bring a calculator. * All ADAI candidates will be provided with a calculator to use for their exam.

Can I bring a snack?
No snacks or beverages are allowed in the test room; however, they can be stored in a locker for access during a break.

Can I bring my cell phone?
No! Cell phones are prohibited in the test room. If candidates do not want to store them in their vehicles, a locker will be provided. All cell phones must be turned off before entering the test room.

What should I bring with me on the test day?
Candidates may bring item(s) specified by their testing vendor and valid government-issued ID(s). Candidates may not bring unauthorized items into the Testing Room and courtesy lockers are provided for storage of personal items.

Lockers are provided for testing candidates to store their personal belongings.
