How do I renew a book? Do I have to come to the library in person to renew?
Materials may be renewed at the library, by phone (256-216-6669), or online.
Students, employees, alumni, and the community may renew items two times unless the items are overdue, or a hold has been placed on the item.
Reserve items cannot be renewed.
Interlibrary Loan materials cannot be renewed online, but must be requested through the ILL office (256-216-6662). The lending library determines renewals for Interlibrary Loan materials.
