How do I use my financial aid in the Bookstore?

You may authorize your financial aid for use in the Bookstore toward certain educational expenses. Follow the steps below to authorize:

• Login to the MyAthens Portal
• Select ‘MyAthens Student’ under the Tools menu
• Under your Profile Picture and Name, select ‘Financial Aid’
• Under Responses Required, click ‘View Questions’ then answer and ‘Submit’

Please note that the ability to charge Bookstore purchases against financial aid becomes available about one month prior to each term start date. You can find the actual date for each semester here: Athens State Important Dates

• Select the semester in question
• View the Session column for “Bookstore Charges”
