What are the University Archives?
The mission of the University Archives is to identify and preserve historical materials of enduring value to Athens State University. The Archives also preserve records and items of historical interest for the local area. The Athens State campus is on the National Register of Historic Places, and is also home to the Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddler’s, Delmore Brothers, and Sports Museums.
