Athens State University invites the community to join us as we kick off the holiday season at our inaugural Christmas Column Lighting at Founders Hall on Friday, December 1 at 5:15 pm.
This family-friendly event will feature cookies and cider in the Glasgow Parlor at Founders Hall, carols sung by the Community Choir, and photos with Santa! Athens State’s own Hebrew the Bear will also be on hand to help light up the columns as the holiday season gets underway.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you! This event is free and open to the public.
