The Master of Education in Training and Development can assist you in providing a more comprehensive and effective education in a variety of learning environments.
The M.Ed. in Training and Development has four concentrations, of which students are REQUIRED to choose two:
Concentration in Instructional Systems Design
Concentration in Instructional Media Development
Concentration in Leadership
Concentration in Human Performance
Graduates will gain foundational knowledge of theories underlying best practices for adult learning and how to effectively apply this information in the workplace as training and development specialists, training and development managers, and education administrators.
The job market potential for graduates of the program includes the management of in-service education and training in business and industry, health-related institutions and agencies, military agencies, institutions of higher education, K-12 education, and related self-employed activities.
