I have always loved the atmosphere of a K-12 school, especially the sports side of things. I majored in Health and Physical Education so that I could get the best of both worlds.
I graduated high school in 2018 and then started attending Calhoun Community College in Fall 2018. After receiving my Associate’s Degree in Arts and Sciences, I came to Athens State in Summer 2020 to pursue my Bachelor’s Degree.
I chose to finish my education at Athens State because it is close to home, wasn’t as expensive as other universities, and nearly all of my classes are offered online – leaving me with a flexible schedule outside of school. It is evident that the teachers genuinely care about my success.
I am currently a waitress, but after graduation, I hope to establish myself in the Athens/Huntsville area and obtain a teaching position shortly afterward. If it was not for God, family, and friends, I would not be half of what I am today.
Alexandra loves basketball and can’t wait to share her passion with kids.
