As a prospective educator, I wanted to attend a school that would help me develop into the teacher that I needed to be for my future students. Athens State University is well known for its phenomenal education program. The joy that I will experience when I become a teacher is what motivates me throughout school. With the help of the teachers here at Athens State, I realize the education field is where I am meant to be.
Kennedy is currently a work-study for Athens State, helps with after-school care at Latchkey, and teaches at Brookhill Elementary School.
